A New Way to Wear Savana: Savana by Urbanic Launches Its First Perfume Collection in India

India, July 29: Savana, one of the fastest-growing fashion platforms, is stepping into scent. The brand announced the launch of its debut fragrance collection, marking Savana's first move into perfume as a category in India and turning heads with a bold new claim: if Savana taught you how to dress, it's now teaching you how to smell.

“Until now, our audience has trusted us to define their visual identity. With this launch, we claim their olfactory identity,” James Wellwood, founding partnerSavana by Urbanic shared. The message is simple but audacious: a curated wardrobe is only the foundation. The real finishing touch, the non-negotiable one, is the scent. Fragrance, Savana says, is the invisible architecture of an outfit, the difference between simply getting dressed and truly stepping into character.

Six Scents, Six Personalities

The debut line arrives as six fragrances, each one built as a full-blown persona rather than just a bottle. There's Berry Obsessed, channeling The Muse; Sugarcoded, the playful, magnetic pull of The Enchantress; and Peach Please, bottling the confidence of The Siren. Rounding out the collection are Powder Puff, soft and starry-eyed as The Dreamer; Soft Girl Hours, warm and tender like The Romantic; and Wood You?, grounded and commanding as The Empress. All six share one sleek silhouette, with color and styling shifting to match each persona, the same fashion-first design language that built Savana's wardrobe now shaping its fragrance wall.

A Launch Designed to Be Discovered, Not Just Announced

True to form, Savana isn't just dropping a product,  it's staging a reveal. The rollout opens with a teaser arc built on mystery: cryptic flat-lays of raw ingredients, a deliberately misleading “is Savana launching a dessert line?” storyline, and a countdown designed to spike curiosity and comments before anyone knows what's coming. When the collection finally drops, it arrives through high-fashion editorial content and a sustained wave of 200+ creators across Instagram and YouTube, keeping the momentum alive well past launch day.

Savana has always been about giving people an accessible way to express who they are. Fragrance is just the next layer of that it's personal, it's emotional, and it's a story you carry with you all day. With this launch, we wanted to build something people actually get to discover, not just buy off a shelf,” said Rahul Dayama, Founding Partner of Savana by Urbanic.

The Savana fragrance collection is available now, with the full line rolling out on the Savana App.
