Quote of Accuspace on Knight Frank Q3 Warehousing Report

Mr. Mukesh Choudhary, Managing Director, Accuspace, a real estate company

The 12% year-on-year growth in warehousing and industrial leasing during Q3 2026, despite elevated crude oil prices and inflationary pressures, highlights the resilience of occupier demand and the structural strength of India’s logistics ecosystem. Manufacturing and third-party logistics players together accounting for 76% of quarterly leasing reflects a broadening demand base, with companies increasingly investing in capacity, supply-chain efficiency and strategically located facilities. An encouraging trend is the geographical diversification of manufacturing demand beyond traditional hubs, opening up opportunities for emerging industrial and logistics markets. The rising preference for Grade A facilities also signals a shift towards organised, technology-enabled and efficient warehousing infrastructure. Going forward, manufacturing expansion, e-commerce, 3PL penetration and supply-chain formalisation are expected to remain key demand drivers, supporting steady absorption and rental growth across quality warehousing assets.
