Pune, Oct 31: Pune’s live entertainment calendar is set for a musical evening with Bismil Ki Mehfil, arriving at Mayfield Estate on 1st November 2026. Presented by Supermoon, the flagship live entertainment property of Zee Live, the show will bring together the emotional depth of Sufi poetry, soulful melodies and the energy of a contemporary live concert.
Blending traditional Sufi influences with modern musical arrangements, Bismil Ki Mehfil offers audiences an experience that moves between soulful renditions and high-energy performances. Led by Bismil’s distinctive vocals and engaging stage presence, the show brings the poetry and emotion of Sufi music into a live concert format, with opportunities for
audiences to sing along to familiar melodies and connect with the music.
Speaking about the Pune show, Gareth Eswin Thomas, Business Head, Zee Live, said, “Pune has a vibrant cultural and entertainment scene, with audiences who appreciate music and live experiences. With Bismil Ki Mehfil, we look forward to bringing the city an evening that celebrates the richness of Sufi music while capturing the energy and connection of a live performance. Through Supermoon, our aim is to create experiences that bring people together through music.”
For Bismil, the connection between the artist, the poetry and the audience is central to the experience.
Bismil said, “I am looking forward to bringing Bismil Ki Mehfil to Pune. For me, a mehfil is about the connection that develops through music and poetry, and the energy the audience brings to every performance. We’re looking forward to an evening of soulful melodies, singing together and creating moments that stay with us long after the show.”
The Pune performance marks the first stop on the announced India tour, which will also travel to Jaipur on 14 November and Hyderabad on 28 November, followed by Indore on 24 December and Ahmedabad on 16 January 2027. Dates for Mumbai and Delhi will be announced soon.
