NIIT University Partners with University of Indianapolis for Academic Collaboration

New Delhi – October 19, 2024: Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the University of the Future, entered into a strategic collaboration with the University of Indianapolis (UINDY), aimed at expanding global educational and research opportunities for its students. UINDY’s robust and cutting-edge programmes and research will offer NU students a global exposure.
This partnership will enhance educational and research opportunities for both students and faculty. NU graduate students can undertake a semester-long internship or research project at UINDY, with options for up to one year. Additionally, all BTech and BBA students at NU can pursue a 6-month to 1-year research practice internship at UINDY, after which they can seamlessly transition into the on-site Corporate MBA programme, provided they meet their academic requirements. NU undergraduate students from various disciplines can also transition smoothly to the Corporate MBA programme at UINDY. Faculty from both institutions can collaborate on research initiatives and joint conferences, with specialized courses offered by UINDY and NU faculty either on-site or online for terms lasting up to one year. To further enrich the experience, UINDY students can participate in an India immersion residential programme organized by NU, while NU students can engage in a U.S. immersion residential programme at UINDY.

As we prepare for our 14th Convocation, we celebrate not only the achievements of our graduates but also the new opportunities this partnership will create, enriching their educational experiences and future career paths.”

NIIT University is all set to host the 14th Convocation for the outgoing batch on October 19, 2024, at the university auditorium in Neemrana, Rajasthan. This event will celebrate the academic achievements of their graduates and master’s students. The distinguished Chief Guest, Ms. Debjani Ghosh, President of NASSCOM, will deliver the Convocation Address. On the occasion 270 students will be presented with their degree certificates.
Ranked  1 in Rajasthan and  16 in India as per the IIRF (Indian Institutional Ranking Framework) ranking 2023, NU has consistently maintained a 100% placement record for all students who have applied. For the class of 2024, over 93% of students secured their aspired roles in various renowned organizations like Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen, KPMG, Genpact, EY, IBM etc. among others. The average CTC for the top 10% of students is 16.5 LPA. The highest salary offered to a student from NU has been Rs 44.27 LPA till date.
Sustainability is central to NU and the university has undertaken various initiatives to facilitate ecological resurrection and contain ecological degradation of its surrounding areas. NU Students are actively engaged in efforts for the ecological resurrection of part of Aravali hills, adjacent to NU. To bring about a larger change, the local community in Neemrana has been involved in the efforts as well. NU’s Green Campus is compliant with all regional environmental norms, boasting of buildings with effective green architectural design parameters, thereby significantly reducing carbon footprint. The campus has retained the Natural Lay of the Land by adapting structures to the surface contours, thus drastically reducing the impact of construction on local geology.
