IIHMR University Launches Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect to Boost Economic Growth

IIHMR University Hosts Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme; Fueling Demographic Dividend for Economic Leap

Jaipur, 07th October, 2025: In a dynamic celebration of youth leadership and national pride, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in collaboration with IIHMR University, and the Regional Director, NSS, Jaipur, hosted the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme (VBYCP) 2025-26. This electrifying event, part of the nationwide Seva Pakhwada festivities, unfolded as a beacon of inspiration, rallying young minds to contribute to the ambitious vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.

Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Programme;

With over 352 participants, the programme featured engaging sessions such as youth dialogues (Yuva Samvad), cultural performances, poster and slogan competitions, and a rapid-fire quiz on the theme of Viksit Bharat. A key highlight of the event was the recognition of 14 students by Dr. PR Sodani, President, IIHMR University and Dr. Goutam Sadhu, Dean of Student Welfare, IIHMR University. 

Dr. PR Sodani, President, IIHMR University, shared, “We believe ambitious youth is the way to a developed, inclusive, and sustainable India. By connecting our young leaders with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary legacy, we are nurturing a generation equipped to tackle global challenges through innovation and civic responsibility. This student driven initiative underscores India’s demographic dividend as a cornerstone for economic growth, where an informed youth can drive innovation, sustainability, and inclusive development.”

As one of the 75 prestigious universities across the nation selected to host this transformative initiative, the university turned its campus into a vibrant hub of ideas, action, and patriotism. Youth icons Mr. Ankit Sharma and Ms. Vaishali Pariihar led engaging sessions, including a presentation on the MY Bharat platform.
