This milestone is further elevated by the collaboration between Hoopr’s Co-Founder & CEO Gaurav Dagaonkar and lyricist Abhimanyu Jha an IIM-A composer lyricist duo who, along with acclaimed vocalist Anirudh Bhola and celebrated composer Atul Kumar Verma, have crafted Saali Mohabbat into a richly melodic, emotionally expressive track. Blending evocative vocals, modern composition, and poetic storytelling, the song brings cinematic depth to the film’s most pivotal moments, powered by the distinct strengths of each artist.

  1. Anirudh Bhola (Vocals): A recognised Bollywood playback singer with credits in Sanam Re, Nasha, Kites, and Krrish 3, Anirudh is known for his hit “Tera Nasha” and his acclaimed A.R. Rahman tribute concerts, making him a widely loved voice across India.

  2. Atul Kumar Verma (Music Composition): A versatile singer–composer–lyricist whose work spans Bollywood, OTT, and independent music, Atul has collaborated with legends like Hariharan, with releases featured on Zee Music, MTV, JioSaavn, and Gaana.

  3. Abhimanyu Jha (Lyrics): An IITM–IIMA alum, bestselling novelist, fintech founder, and songwriter, Abhimanyu brings storytelling depth and creative range to his lyrical work, with contributions across OTT and independent music.

These artists have been part of the platform for over 3 years, contributing to a growing ecosystem of 1,500+ independent musicians spanning vocalists, composers, and lyricists.

Speaking about this, Gaurav Dagaonkar, Co-Founder & CEO of Hoopr said

“Saali Mohabbat marks a significant milestone in the independent music space. Traditionally, many opportunities have been available only to artists signed with large record labels. Hoopr is creating a pathway for filmmakers to connect with exceptional indie talent while giving artists opportunities to showcase their work across film, OTT, brand integrations, and more. The most heartening validation for us was that the film’s title was changed after the makers heard the song—Saali Mohabbat resonated so deeply that it ultimately became the title of the movie. This Bollywood debut reinforces our vision of making talent discovery truly democratic and strengthens our commitment to collaborating closely with filmmakers to create meaningful avenues for independent musicians to become part of mainstream storytelling”

Meghna Mittal, Co-Founder of Hoopr, added:

“Saali Mohabbat stands as a strong testament to the creator ecosystem we’ve built. From discovering the artists to identifying the perfect sound and producing the track, every step was executed entirely in-house through Hoopr’s artist network. The song was crafted to align perfectly with the creative brief, while also incorporating fresh ideas and perspectives from independent musicians across the country. Our mission has always been to give creators visibility and meaningful opportunities, and this track marks the beginning of many more artist-led collaborations making their way into mainstream entertainment.”

With this launch, Hoopr sets a new precedent in the industry—showing how independent music talent, supported by the right platform, can find its place in Bollywood and beyond.
