Mr. Saumitra P Srivastava takes charge as Director (Marketing), IndianOil

Pune (S.N), 4th October 2025: Mr. Saumitra P. Srivastava has taken charge as Director (Marketing) at IndianOil, bringing over three decades of experience within the Corporation to his new leadership role.

An alumnus of IIT Roorkee with a Civil Engineering degree and an Executive MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, Mr. Srivastava has held several key positions across IndianOil’s marketing and sales functions. He began his career in the LPG business before advancing through various roles in downstream operations, strategy, and retail transformation.

He is known for his collaborative, results-driven leadership and has successfully led multiple transformation initiatives, including the Dhruva – Retail Transformation project, Non-Fuel Convenience Stores, and major digitisation efforts. His previous roles include Head of Retail Transformation, Retail Business Head for North & East India, and Head of State for Maharashtra & Goa, where he managed diverse product lines and business operations.

Before assuming his new role, he served as Executive Director (Corporate Strategy), focusing on customer-centric strategies and operational efficiency.

As Director (Marketing), Mr. Srivastava will shape the strategic direction of IndianOil’s expansive marketing network. His vision emphasizes building a tech-enabled, agile, and customer-focused ecosystem, while leading the Corporation’s transition to sustainable and future-ready fuels.
