DPS RN Extension Celebrates Teachers’ Day with a Special Assembly

Delhi Public School R.N. Extension celebrated Teachers’ Day in a spectacular manner, creating lasting memories for students and teachers. The event featured a special assembly that brought students and teachers together to observe this auspicious day joyfully.

The event commenced with a warm welcome of all the teachers by the students of Grades XI & XII, followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp. During the event, students paid tribute to their teachers through heartfelt speech, poems, throwback video, melodious songs and captivating dance performances. They also presented a thoughtful skit showcasing the pious bond between ‘Guru and Shishya’. The students also conducted various fun competitions for the teachers that mesmerized everyone in attendance. The momentous occasion culminated by enlightening address by Mrs. Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS RN Extension.

She expressed, “Teachers do more than just imparting knowledge; they offer invaluable life lessons that guide students in their personal and academic growth. The event not only highlighted the instrumental role teachers play in students life but also strengthened the student-teacher relationship which is an essential part of our school’s ethos.”
