GyanDhan Launches India’s First INR 20 Lakh Test-Based Scholarships to Empower Students

New Delhi, May 13th, 2025 — GyanDhan, India’s leading education financing company, proudly announces the launch of the test-based scholarship program, offering a total award pool of INR 20 Lakhs. To qualify, students don’t need to show their academic scores. A single aptitude test and four top-performing students will be announced as winners. Each will receive INR 5 Lakhs to support their higher education journey—whether in India or overseas.

Earlier, GyanDhan has offered an annual INR 1 Lakh merit-based scholarship, but this year we brought a little change. We have made it first test-based scholarship of its kind in India. The initiative is open to students of any nationality planning to pursue a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate studies within the next 11 months. Applicants must either hold a Letter of Acceptance from a recognized institution or provide an application acknowledgment receipt.

Interested candidates must register by providing basic information. On May 31, 2025, all registered applicants will appear for a 60-minute online test comprising two sections—Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning. The four highest scorers will be awarded the scholarships.

“We’ve supported over 15,000 students with financial guidance, and now we’re stepping up further. With this expanded scholarship program, we aim to invest in students’ potential and promote access to quality education.” says Ankit Mehra, GyanDhan CEO.
