Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Launches 64th Campus Placement Programme for Newly Qualified CAs
New Delhi, Mar 25: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the commencement of registrations for its 64th Campus Placement Programme for newly qualified Chartered Accountants. Registration timelines for participating organizations and candidates have been officially notified through the ICAI placement portal.
The programme has received an enthusiastic response, with leading companies from diverse sectors registering to participate in the campus recruitment drive. Placement activities will be conducted across nine major centres—Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur—along with 20 smaller centres to ensure wider reach and inclusive participation.
Interview Schedule for Major Centres (April 2026):
- Mumbai: April 6–10, 2026
- Delhi: April 6–10, 2026
- Bengaluru: April 8–13, 2026
- Chennai: April 9–14, 2026
- Kolkata: April 10–15, 2026
- Hyderabad: April 13–17, 2026
- Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur & smaller centres: As per detailed schedule on the official portal
To support candidates in their preparation, ICAI organized the virtual CA Career Catalyst Programme 2026 from March 15 to 22, 2026. The programme included expert sessions on core areas such as taxation, M&A, finance, audit, and consulting, along with emerging domains like forensic accounting and GCC/offshore accounting. Candidates also received training in group discussions, HR interview preparation, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentoring.
ICAI conducts campus placement programmes three times a year to connect newly qualified Chartered Accountants with prospective employers. The initiative serves as a one-stop platform for organizations to identify and recruit top talent through structured interactions and profile-based selection.
In the previous edition (63rd Campus Placement Programme, 2025–26), over 10,200 job offers were made, with the highest domestic package reaching ₹32.22 lakh per annum.
