Leading Voices from Security, Healthcare and the Arts Join Jury for Himanshu Roy Legacy Awards 2026

The Himanshu Roy Foundation has announced the distinguished jury panel for the upcoming Himanshu Roy Legacy Awards 2026, a national initiative that honours exceptional individuals and institutions whose work embodies courage, compassion, integrity, and service to the nation.

Bringing together eminent leaders from the fields of National Security, Medicine & Healing, and Indian Classical Music, the jury reflects the Awards’ commitment to recognising principled excellence across diverse domains. The panel comprises Javed Ahmed, IPS, Former Commissioner of Police, Mumbai and Former Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia; Shashi Vyas, Classical Music Curator, Coordinator and Organiser; Dr Anirudh Kohli, CEO, Breach Candy Hospital and Leading Radiologist; Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Indian Express Group; and Bhavna Roy, Founder & Director, Himanshu Roy Foundation.

The jury will conduct a rigorous evaluation of nominations received from across the country, assessing individuals and institutions whose contributions have had a meaningful impact while upholding the highest standards of ethics, leadership, and public service.

Commenting on the jury announcement, Bhavna Roy, Founder and Director, Himanshu Roy Foundation, said,

“The Himanshu Roy Legacy Awards were envisioned as a platform to honour individuals and institutions whose work reflects integrity, service, and lasting impact. We are privileged to have a jury of such exceptional stature and credibility. Their collective wisdom, distinguished accomplishments, and commitment to excellence will play a vital role in identifying and celebrating those whose contributions inspire positive change and strengthen our nation.” 

Instituted in memory of the late Himanshu Roy, IPS, a highly respected officer remembered for his unwavering courage, ethical leadership, and deep compassion, the Awards seek to spotlight individuals and institutions whose work exemplifies service-led impact and principled leadership. Following the jury’s review process, the winners will be felicitated at the Awards ceremony scheduled to take place on 23rd June 2026 in Mumbai.
