Joyalukkas Marks World Blood Donor Day with Nationwide Blood Donation Camps
Thrissur , June 17 : Joyalukkas Group organised blood donation camps at its showrooms across the country on Wednesday to mark World Blood Donor Day. The nationwide blood donation campaign was led by the Joyalukkas Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Group, and saw the participation of employees.

The blood donation camp held at the Joyalukkas Corporate Office in Thrissur was inaugurated by Dr. Joy Alukkas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Joyalukkas Group. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Joy Alukkas said that blood donation is one of the noblest humanitarian acts, capable of saving lives. He expressed happiness that the Group was able to organise camps across India, benefiting thousands of people through voluntary blood donation.

 
Dr. Gopinath, Director of the Indian Medical Association Blood Bank; Dr. Joseph George, IMA District Convener; Jolly Joy Alukkas, Director of the Joyalukkas Group; and other senior officials of the Group were also present.
