Nation Mourns as Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle to Be Given State Honours in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 13 (BNP): India bid an emotional farewell to legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, whose last rites are set to be held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai with full state honours.

The iconic singer, celebrated for a remarkable career spanning more than seven decades, passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. She had been undergoing treatment at a city hospital and succumbed to age-related complications.

Known for her extraordinary versatility and timeless voice, Asha Bhosle left an indelible mark on Indian music, with countless songs that continue to resonate across generations.
