Kollam Marks Major Digital Milestone with KFON Crossing 10,000 Connections

Kollam, Feb 6: Kollam marked a major digital milestone with KFON connections exceeding 10,000. A total of 10,783 connections have been completed, indicating growing adoption across homes, offices, and commercial units.

KFON’s presence in the district continues to expand, with 7,496 domestic connections completed to date. The network now serves 1,453 households below the poverty line and over 200 government institutions, while six users are currently supported through high-value connections. Affordable pricing combined with reliable, high-speed internet has been a key factor driving KFON’s steady uptake across Kollam.

Commercial connections are being expanded through partnerships with local operators, as around 415 network providers across Kollam work alongside KFON to strengthen coverage and accelerate service rollout.

To apply for a new household connection, users can register via the “Ente KFON” mobile app or the KFON website. Connections can also be registered through the toll-free number 1800 570 4466.
