Adani Gangavaram Port Honoured by Andhra Pradesh Government for CSR Excellence under P4 Program

Visakhapatnam, April 10: Adani Gangavaram Port, the deepest and one of the most modern ports in India has been honoured with an Appreciation Award by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for its impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) participation under the P4 Program, as part of the Bangaru Kutumbam initiative.

 The recognition acknowledges Adani Gangavaram Port’s contribution to the Swarna Andhra Vision – 2047, supporting zero poverty and inclusive growth through the P4 model, which brings together the government, private sector, and citizens to uplift underprivileged families and enable sustainable livelihood development.

The award was formally presented by Dr. Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Minister for Social Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh, along with Shri Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble MLA, Bheemili Constituency, and Shri M. N. Harendhira Prasad, IAS, District Collector, Visakhapatnam.

The dignitaries appreciated the Port’s active role in supporting Bangaru Kutumbam beneficiary families through focused CSR interventions in education, women empowerment, skill development, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement, implemented in close collaboration with local communities and government agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said,

“Adani Gangavaram Port reaffirmed its commitment to responsible growth and community‑centric development, aligning its CSR initiatives with the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s vision of achieving zero poverty through innovative and inclusive Public–Private–People Partnerships.”
